Recruitment 2013-2014 announced
The company has recently invited applications for
the post of Graduate Engineers through the GATE 2014 examination. The company
needs fresh and talented Engineering Graduates for different disciplines of
engineering through online modes of application. The candidates who have the
required eligibility can apply for the post provided they have already
registered in the GATE 2014 Examination conducted shortly for all the
engineering graduates.

Eligibility
Requirements: The candidates should have passed the
four years of degree in Graduation B.E. /B/Tech. in the above mentioned
disciplines from a recognized university for this purpose. The candidates must
have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all the four semesters
including those who are appearing in the qualifying degree exam and applying to
the post. The candidates who belong to the reserved categories must have
secured a minimum of 55% marks in the above said exam.
Age
Criteria: The maximum age of all the eligible candidates
should be 25 years as on 30th June 2014 for being eligible to this
post. The candidates belonging to the OBCs will be granted relaxation in ages
as per the Presidential Directives.
Selection
Procedure: The candidates who apply for the post will be
selected on the basis of the GATE 2014 score in the concerned disciplines as
prescribed for this purpose. The candidates who are shortlisted in the GATE
exam will be then called for the Group Discussion/Group Task/ and or Personal
Interview. The candidates applying for the post must be medically-fit as per
the HPCLs pre-employment medical standard for being eligible to the post.
Application
Procedure: The candidates must apply for the GATE 2014 for
registering to the recruitment in HPCL through any of website of IITs. The
candidates will use the registration number of GATE 2014 for applying online in
the HPCL. The recruitment is open online from the website of the HPCL i.e.
hindustanpetroleum.com or hpclcareers.com.
