Paper-I:
July, 28th 2013 and timing 10.30 to 12.00 Hours
Paper-I:
July, 28th 2013 and timing 13.30 to 15.00 Hours
Applicants who belong to far area such as Manipur,
Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti Distt and Pangi
Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Island,
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Lakshadweep their Last date for Receipt of
confirmation from CBSE is April 29th 2013.

Students Eligibility: Applicants have to following
min educational qualification for appearing in Central Teacher Eligibility Test
is as follows-
Teacher for Classes I-V: Applicants have to pass with
50% marks in Senior secondary or its equivalent or 2nd - year
Diploma in final year in Elementary Education/ 50% marks in Senior Secondary or
4-year of B.El.Ed(Bachelor of Elementary Education)/ UG should passed out or
appeared in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: UG should passed out or
appeared in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 50% marks in
UG and should passed out or appeared B.Ed in 1st Year/ 45% marks in
UG and should passed out or appeared B.Ed in 1st Year/ 50% marks in
Senior Secondary or its equivalent in final 4- year of B.El.Ed./ 50% marks in
Senior Secondary or its equivalent in final 4- year of B.A.-Ed/B.Sc.Ed or
B.A/B.Sc.Ed.
Marks unto 5%relaxation to reserved applicants
(SC/ST/OBC/PH) , final year applicants who applying for this above post have to
valid only passing the examination, applicants who not full fill the criteria
requested not to apply for the above
posts.
Examination Pattern:
Question is of
objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs).
There is No negative marking in question paper, there will 2
paper will conduct (Paper-I & Paper-II) , Paper-I for teacher of I to V and
Paper II for teacher of VI to VIII.
If in case any applicants want to be a teacher to classes I
to VIII then they have to appear in both the papers.
Examination Fees: For Paper-I or Paper-II Rs 500/-,
for Paper-I/II Rs 800/-(SC/ST/PH for Paper-I or Paper-II Rs 250/-, for
Paper-I/II Rs 400/-).
Submission Application : Applicants have to visit
official site and submit application form online, online mode of application is
entertained only, print out the application form, paste passport size photo,
original CBSE copy of challan and send it to CBSE, CTET Unit or e-Post office
in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
Payment is done in two ways: Challan or by
Debit/Credit card.
