AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health
Science, nashik, and was established in 1948, it providing courses of UG & PG.
this university is recognized by the Medical Council of India, and this year it
taking entrance examination for MBBS course for under graduate program.
From this year Armed Forces Medical Colleges get merged with
NEET-UG, it conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) from
2013 onwards which has been finalized by the Medical Council of India.

Eligibility OF applicants: Candidates Overseas Citizen of India & Indian
Nationals are eligible, 17 years is minimum age limit to apply as on date Dec
31st the year of admission, 5 years relaxation to candidates

marks is essential in qualifying examination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/

From 2013 onwards AFMC Entrance Exam is merging with the
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for undergraduate courses (NEET), which
has been finalized by the Medical Council of India and will be conducted by the
Central Board of Secondary Education from 2013 onwards.

Physics syllabus: Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic
Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Electrostatics,
Current Electricity, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and
Nuclei, Electronic Devices.
Chemistry syllabus: Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, General Principles and
Processes of Isolation of Elements, p-Block Elements, d and f Block Elements, Solid
State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and
Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic

Biology syllabus: Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and Its Applications,

Paper Pattern: Written examination contains 200 questions; there are
sections for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, Intelligence, Logical
& Reasoning, English Language & Comprehension in 5 equal parts.
Examination duration is of 2 hours (120 minutes).

Candidates have to
apply online mode only in which visiting official site make online
filling form, after filling and submission of documents candidates print out
hard copy of application form, attachments of all essential documents and send
it to given address.
