Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2013 is conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi.  Get more info. on sarkarinaukrinotification.com .This examination is conducting for admission in PG (Post Graduate) Pharmacy Programmes. Written examination is of computer based, candidate who wants to get admission in PG program in pharmacy have to apply before April 8th 2013. Further details are mentioned as follows:

GPAT 2013 Eligibility Detail

GPAT 2013 Qualification Detail: Applicants must do graduation degree in Pharmacy, which is 4 years full time course after 12th board. Result awaited or final Year applicants of Bachelor in Pharmacy course are also eligible to apply.

Fee Detail:  Candidate have to pay Rs. 1200/- + Bank Charges (for General and OBC category candidate), Rs. 600 + Bank charges (for PD/ SC/ST category candidate).


Admission Procedure: Applicants Admission is done only merit list. This merit list is prepared in basis of online test. 

Applying Procedure: Eligible applicants have to visit official site for filling application form online, all mandatory detail should be filled correctly, After filling all required blanks applicants have to submit it online and make registration complete.
Fee payment is done by either offline/ online mode.
 In online mode applicants have to make payment through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking.
In offline mode applicants make payment through challan, as cash deposited at any nearest branch of SBI (State Bank of India).

Introduction to Physical pharmacy: Matter, Properties of Matter,  Dispersion Systems, Complexation, Kinetics and Drug Stability, Micromere tics and Powder Rheology, Surface and Interfacial Phenomenon, Viscosity and Rheology, Importance of microbiology in pharmacy: (Identification of Microbes, Control of microbes by physical and chemical methods, Sterilization, Immunology and Immunological Preparations etc. ), Introduction to pharmaceutical jurisprudence & ethics: (A brief study of the various Acts with special reference to the main provisions and the latest amendments,     Pharmaceutical Ethics, Pharmaceutical Legislations), Introduction to dispensing and community pharmacy: (Records and Reports, Nuclear Pharmacy, Drug Information Services,  Hospital Formulary, Drug distribution Systems in Hospitals, Organization and Structure of hospital pharmacy etc.), Importance of unit operations in manufacturing, Stoichiometry: (Size Reduction, Drying, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Automated Process Control Systems, Industrial Hazards and Safety Precautions etc.), Dosages Forms, designing & evaluation: ( Cosmetic logy and Cosmetic Preparations,   Pharmaceutical Aerosols, Semisolid Dosage Forms,  Liquid Dosages Forms,  Performance evaluation methods etc.), Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics: Clinical Pharmacokinetics,  Introduction to biopharmaceutics, Bioavailability and bioequivalence etc.)

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY

Inorganic pharmaceutical & medicinal chemistry: Importance of inorganic compounds in pharmacy and medicine, Major Intra- and Extra-cellular Electrolytes, Gases and Vapors,  Miscellaneous Agents, Essential and Trace Elements etc.


Paper Pattern: There are 125 objective based questions of 180 minutes, this exam is computer based. Each correct answer give 4 marks and wrong answer deduct 1 mark from right answer.
