The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in
1936.First Name is as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In
1944, it was renamed as the Tata
Institute of Social Sciences. The year 1964 was an important landmark in the
history of the Institute, when it was declared Deemed to be a University under
Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956.
Program Notification 2013-14
Executive Post Graduation Diploma in Human Resources Management:
It is weekend Program which is 18
month part time course, it is professional part time management course,
applicants who is employed in any organization and want promotion in this
department then this course is very much essential, as students may also apply
for this part time program.
Criteria of Eligibility
Criteria:
Candidate done their graduation
degree in any stream from recognized university / college with 45% marks (SC/ST
have 35%) or PG in any discipline + 3 year work experience after UG or
supervisory category, preferably in
administration dept / personnel .
Other Important Exams
Age Criteria: Applicant’s
age should be 40 years as on date 1st June 2013 (special case
applicants get relaxation).
Vacant Seats: There are 45
seats vacant.
Process of Selection: Written
test and personal interview.

have to pay Rs 1000/- for getting application form & information brochure,
in any branch of SBI, completely fill all the necessary detail and send it to
